Note
Die Firmen "Institut Vaccinal Suisse" (1883-1898) und "Laiterie modèle de Lancy" (1881-1918), von welcher sich ein Teilbestand in diesem Archivbestand befindet, wurden von dem Unternehmer Charles Haccius (1855-1933) in Lancy (Genf) gegründet. Während die Firma Institut Vaccinal Suisse als Impfstoffhersteller (Pockenimpfstoff) der Arzneimittelindustrie zuzurechnen ist, war die Firma Laiterie modèle de Lancy ein milchverarbeitendes Unternehmen. Die Firma Institut Vaccinal Suisse fusionierte 1898 mit dem 1895 in Bern gegründeten Unternehmen "Haefliger & Cie, Kommanditgesellschaft für Herstellung bakterio-therapeutischer Produkte", wodurch das "Schweizerische Serum- und Impfinstitut" entstand.
